ALZHEIMER'S & DEMENTIA CHARITIES

Since 2017, we have been proud to support Somerset Alzheimer’s Society and Dementia Awareness.

Cranmers Optometrists have been committed to raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Society and Minehead Dementia Action Alliance. Our first sponsorship event was a 200-mile spinning bike challenge in the practice on 7th June. We cycled for over 7 hrs and raised £800. A week later we got baking and had a cupcake day which raised £100. Our patients and staff all enjoyed a day of eating cakes and drinking tea!

Our most recent challenge was a 20-mile memory walk over the glorious hills of Exmoor, finishing at Minehead seafront. We were blessed with fabulous weather and we were joined by members of Minehead Dementia Action Alliance, our dedicated staff and their much-loved dogs!
